Sachin Garg is the publisher behind launching some of India’s highest selling authors. He is himself an accomplished author published by Harper Collins and Penguin India in the past. He is the Founder and CEO of Grapevine India and has the experience of every publishing related department, starting from procurement of paper and editing books to placing book in a prime spot in a book store. A graduate of two of India’s premier institutes, he made a mark in an industry where he was an absolute outsider.

  • Founded indie book publishing company ‘Grapevine India Publishers Private Limited’ in 2011. Edited more than fifty books
  • Published Durjoy Datta and Nikita Singh at Grapevine up to the point they were acquired by Penguin India
  • Runs a very successful Kindle e-book business
  • Published first book in 2009, titled ‘I’m not twenty-four’. Followed by 6 more bestselling novels with various publishers, including Harper Collins and Penguin India
  • Co-wrote the autobiography of Mr Dilip Chhabria, MD of DC Designs, commissioned by Penguin India
  • Co-wrote the autobiography of Mr Harish Mehta, Founding Chairman of NASSCOM and Chairman of Onward Technologies
  • Went to Delhi College of Engineering for BE, Electronics and Communication (2008) and MDI, Gurgaon for an MBA (2010). Worked with JSW Steel, Bellary, Karnataka (2010-2011)

  • Pitched TV and OTT shows with Beyond Dreams Entertainment on project basis from 2015
  • Built a highly engaged and interactive Instagram following (of 25k+ followers) with original humorous content. Link here

  • Founded a one-off event called India Lit Fest in 2014, held at Pragati Maidan. Had speakers like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Rashmi Bansal, Nikita Singh, Tisca Chopra, Raghu and Ravinder Singh

  • Written, Directed and Produced a romantic comedy play titled ‘Mere Creepy Guruji’ in 2017, which was staged in Cuckoo Club, Bandra
